Cats have been associated with various symbols throughout history. They have been revered in ancient Egyptian culture, where they were believed to possess mystical qualities and were even worshipped as gods. Cats are often associated with independence, agility, and mystery. They are seen as symbols of grace, elegance, and intuition. In many cultures, cats are also associated with good luck and protection against evil spirits. This specific version of the Cat Eye Ring is made with a high-quality Tiger's Eye inlay, specifically cut, so that the chatoyancy of the material shines from a large range of viewing angles.

Accompanying the Tiger's Eye is a modified marquise center stone made of Black Jade; a durable variety of Jade that simulates the depth of a cat’s pupil. Both are set into a rich 14k yellow gold that allows the Tigers Eye to bleed into the surrounding material, causing a striking level of unity across the piece.

Tiger's Eye is a variety of Quartz with parallel fibers of Amphibole that turns into Limonite. These parallel fibers cause light to reflect perpendicular to the fibers, creating the stunning effect that is Chatoyancy.
